We visited a favorite farm for a little strawberry picking. Lila loves to make jam and loves even more to eat it. Jelly sandwiches are yummy in her tummy. We ran out of our jam in March and those jelly sandwiches in April, May and June just weren't the same. She hardly asked for one. So Lila and Mommy picked enough to make a years worth of jam while Tess made jam in the strawberry patch. Good thing we had Daddy with us. Lila and I thought about running across the street to pick peas, but opted to cool off with an ice cream cone on the way home.
